Verse Memorization

I would like to make a page dedicated to verse memorization. I will be posting verses I'm working on memorizing and would love some challenges! So, if you have a verse memorized or a nice verse to memorize, let me know via comment or e-mail (tedds@umich.edu)

James 1:12**
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Colossians 3:1-4**
1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Ephesians 2:8-10*
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God prepared for beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Romans 5:8**
But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 8:2**
Through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Luke 9:25-26
25 For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of me and my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Jeremiah 9:23-24*
23 Thus says the LORD "Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not  the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who practices  steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD."

Lead me, Oh LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies, make your way straight before me.
